In just ten days, the Zurich Seville Marathon has sold out the 20,000 bibs offered for the next edition, setting a participation record with 3,000 more runners than in the previous event
In just ten days, the Zurich Seville Marathon, which will take place on February 21, 2027, has reached the limit of 20,000 bibs, setting a new participation record for the race by surpassing by 3,000 runners the figure of the last edition, which registered 17,000 entrants.
Once the first two preferential periods rewarding the loyalty of those registered in 2026 and those who were on the waiting list ended, the Zurich Seville Marathon opened registrations at 00:01 on Friday, April 17, recording a high number of sign-ups from the very moment registration opened. Although in the previous edition registrations sold out in record time, in 28 days, in the upcoming one it has been even faster, and in only 10 days all available bibs have sold out.
After registrations closed, a waiting list was opened to accommodate runners who might register later should withdrawals or cancellations occur
